Recreation Supervisor

Recreation Supervisor We’re looking for a dynamic leader who will build strong community relationships, develop engaging programs, and manage facility operations. Core Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging recreation programs, community events, and recreational activities for residents and visitors. Oversee facility operations, supervise and mentor staff, manage budgets and projects, and ensure exceptional customer service. Build community partnerships, promote programs through public outreach, and develop innovative recreational opportunities. Education and Experience Associate’s Degree (Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Leisure Services preferred). Five (5) years of recreation programming experience, including lead or supervisory experience. Licenses & Certifications Valid driver’s license. Key Competencies Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and county regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software. Strong analytical, research, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to develop training materials, make decisions, and solve problems. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports and work effectively with staff and the public. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and use computer equipment. Physical Demands Should be able to stoop, walk, sit, pull, grasp, see, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
