Sterile Processing TechnicianSchedule:Shifts available:12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, with potential call and weekend requirements (1 position available)3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with potential call and weekend requirements (2 positions available)Requirements and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in Central Sterile/Sterile ProcessingPrior travel experience is requiredCertification from CBSPD or HSPA is mandatoryBLS certification is requiredDuties and Responsibilities:Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments and other medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer's Instructions For Use (IFU).Inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize medical devices following manufacturer's IFUs.Operate automated washers, ultrasonic cleaners, cart washers, and sterilizers as per manufacturer's IFUs.Inspect surgical instrumentation during tray assembly to ensure optimal functioning and cleanliness.Pull surgical case carts for add-ons and emergency cases.Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate instrument and supply needs timely.Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of all departmental areas, signing off on cleaning logs and tracking product expiration dates.Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support departmental and organizational functions.Behavior Characteristics:The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.Client Details Address 18697 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130 City Middleburg Heights State OH Zip Code 44130
