Title:  ServiceNow Developer

Description:  As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for maintaining and performing continual service improvements on the following implemented modules: ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM. You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Work with product owner/stakeholders to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements.
• Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows and business use cases.
• Performs operational administrative tasks, as needed.
• Assists with report configuration and maintenance, as needed.
• Configure and maintain data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Design/ Develop ServiceNow Forms and Tables as well as Modules.
• Develop Workflow / Flow Design where required to drive Approvals and Process Lifecycle.
• Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each (including CMS/Service Portal).
• Design, create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow.
• Best Practices and Governance:
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, agency security guidelines, governance policies and maintain as close to an out of the box environment as possible.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification highly desired
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development of the modules listed above.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow Architecture and ServiceNow Scripting.
• Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
• Demonstrated knowledge of service management processes, procedures, and software, and including knowledge of ServiceNow.

CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION
