Position SummarySD Solutions is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support development, enhancement, configuration, integration, testing, and ongoing operations of the IRS IRWorks ServiceNow platform. The Developer will work within an Agile environment to translate business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable ServiceNow solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and functionality.Translate requirements and user stories into technical solutions.Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, workflows, and automation.Develop solutions using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.Configure ServiceNow modules and platform functionality.Support CMDB and CSDM implementation and maintenance.Develop Service Portal and/or UI Builder components as required.Create and manage Update Sets and application deployments.Develop and support integrations with external systems.Participate in unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and regression testing.Troubleshoot defects and production issues.Perform data imports, transformations, and migrations.Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.Follow IRS security, Section 508, and development standards.Required Qualifications5+ years of ServiceNow / Enterprise Service Management experience.At least 2 years supporting Federal Government environments.Strong ServiceNow application development and JavaScript experience.Experience with ServiceNow APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and ACLs.Experience with CMDB/CSDM.Experience with Service Portal and/or UI Builder.Experience with Update Sets and release/deployment processes.Experience with testing, upgrades, integrations, and data migration.EducationBachelor 's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Required CertificationsServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Applicable ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification(s) Key Technical SkillsServiceNow | JavaScript | Glide APIs | Business Rules | Script Includes | Client Scripts | ACLs | CMDB | CSDM | UI Builder | Service Portal | Update Sets | REST APIs | Testing | Data MigrationSecurity / AccessMust be capable of obtaining and maintaining IRS MBI / Tier 2 Moderate Risk suitability. Current or prior IRS MBI is strongly preferred.Ideal Candidate ProfileA strong hands-on ServiceNow developer with Federal experience who can move comfortably between configuration, scripting, integration, testing, release support, and production troubleshooting.
