Physical Therapist – Full Time – Good Samaritan Facility: GSS MN Austin Comfort Care Center Location: Austin, MN Address: 1201 17th St NE, Austin, MN 55912, USA Shift: Day Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $37.50 – $62.00 per hour The Skilled Rehab and Home Health team at Good Samaritan in SE MN seeks to hire a Physical Therapist. The position is full time, 35‑40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday (weekdays, weekends, holidays flexible), covering Home Health in surrounding areas and assisting as needed in our Skilled Nursing Facilities. We treat orthopedic, weakness, balance/falls/gait, cervical/back pain, general deconditioning, and other various conditions. The staff includes 2 full‑time PTs and 5 full‑time PTAs. New graduates are welcomed! Job Summary Plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs that help clients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease. Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards. Document client information for evaluation, establish therapeutic plans, and modify them as necessary. Educate clients and their families about treatment plans, schedules, and self‑exercises to be continued at home. Demonstrate and incorporate knowledge of current research into daily treatment. Supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide client care, treatment, or other services. Participate in activities to promote the department, Good Samaritan Society and Sanford Health. Qualifications Appropriate education level and state licensure required. Licensed Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice. Valid driver’s license when applicable. Must obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within the first 60 days of employment.
