Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Labor and Delivery RN!

Job Description:
- Join a dynamic team offering 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend commitment.
- Opportunity for 2 call shifts per month, ensuring flexibility in your schedule.
- Orientation week is essential; be prepared to be onsite for engaging training sessions (some remote modules).
- Work in a bustling L&D unit with:
- 15 Labor & Delivery beds
- 18 Postpartum beds
- 2 OR suites dedicated to C-Sections
- 3 triage beds
- Approximately 160-200 deliveries per month
- Follow AWHONN guidelines for optimal patient care.
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE Certification
- Experience in managing a range of diagnoses, including preeclampsia, diabetes, and high-risk pregnancies.
- RN responsibilities include:
- Titrating drips, including Pitocin.
- Opportunities to assist as Charge Nurse and collaborate in triage.
- Support staff includes:
- 1-2 surgical techs per shift
- CNAs in postpartum to aid with patient care.
- Round-the-clock staffing includes:
- OBs in-house, NNPs available, and neonatology on-call within 30 minutes.
- Anesthesia staff available 24/7.
- State-of-the-art equipment:
- RT Equipment (vents, CPAP, BiPAP) primarily for NICU.
- Work with tele/monitor techs; your own interpretation of strips is not required.
- Enjoy a supportive environment with a tele room monitoring your telemetry strips (Phillips monitors).
- Self-scheduling is encouraged, with a shift pattern designed for your work-life balance.
- Required weekends: 6-9 shifts within a 6-week period.
- Floating is required primarily between LDRP; possible floating within Zone 3 if needed.
- Dress code: hospital scrubs.
