Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Coordinator in Channahon, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access activities with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.21 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:00 AM - 05:00 PMTue05:00 AM - 05:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, administrative spaces, access points, and the perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations at the location. Monitor entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or contractors, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Support security‑related operations in an industrial chemical and petrochemical environment by communicating with site contacts, documenting daily activities, and following post orders. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
