The program provides meaningful service opportunities. Projects may include park cleanups, nonprofit support, community beautification, gardening, light repair work, and other hands-on projects.Position OverviewLearningWorks is seeking a Service Works Coordinator to supervise, mentor, and support youth completing restorative community service projects in Cumberland & York Counties.This role combines youth development, restorative practices, project coordination, and community partnership building. The Coordinator works directly alongside youth in community settings, helping them successfully complete individualized service plans while developing workplace skills, accountability, and confidence.This position is primarily community-based and in person, with travel throughout southern Maine and occasional administrative work that can be completed remotely.Successful candidates understand that relationship-building is foundational to this work. Some participants may initially demonstrate hesitation, inconsistent engagement, or limited readiness due to previous experiences, personal challenges, or system involvement.
