As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Director of Talent & Culture who can help us build an environment where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. This person will shape the employee experience from onboarding to development, strengthen the systems that support growth and accountability, and help preserve the entrepreneurial, collaborative culture that defines BODEN. Lead annual open enrollment, vendor relationships, and benefits renewals. Oversee compensation benchmarking and support leadership in maintaining competitive pay structures. Ensure compliance with employment law and keep company policies current and well-communicated. Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR questions and concerns. Attract, Develop, and Retain Exceptional Talent Lead recruiting efforts across the agency, from workforce planning through hiring and onboarding. Partner with leadership to identify talent needs and build strong candidate pipelines. Develop strategies to attract top talent who align with BODEN's values, culture, and ambitions. Create a consistent and thoughtful candidate experience. Strengthen BODEN's employer brand within the communications, marketing, and creator industries. Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring effectiveness and speed. Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and overall team experience. Partner with agency leadership to reinforce company values and expectations. Develop programs that support employee growth, recognition, and career development. Help the agency understand and adapt to the needs and expectations of emerging generations in the workforce. Use employee feedback and insights to identify opportunities for improvement. Build Scalable Talent Programs Own and continuously improve onboarding, manager training, professional development, and leadership development programs. Create clear career paths and development frameworks across the agency. Build practical tools, resources, and processes that help managers lead effectively. Ensure talent programs can scale as the agency grows. Drive Performance and Accountability Own the agency's performance review process and annual talent calendar. Ensure reviews, goal-setting conversations, and development plans are completed on time. Partner with department leaders to improve the quality and consistency of feedback. Track participation, identify gaps, and follow up to ensure accountability. Support leadership with talent planning and employee development discussions. Manage operational processes and systems that keep the agency running smoothly. Coordinate with building management, IT vendors, and other service providers. Identify and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency. Manage office budget and operational expenses. Ensure the office environment reflects BODEN's culture and supports team productivity. Executive Support Provide high-level administrative and executive support to senior leadership as needed. Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and meeting logistics for leadership. Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare briefing materials, and handle confidential correspondence. Anticipate leadership needs and proactively manage competing priorities. Support preparation for leadership meetings, board materials, or external presentations. Culture & In-Office Presence Serve as a visible and positive presence in the office. Build strong relationships across all levels of the agency. Help create experiences and traditions that strengthen connection and community in office. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Talent, Human Resources, People Operations, Organizational Development, Recruiting, or a related field. Experience leading recruiting, benefits administration, talent development, and performance management programs. Hands‑on experience managing office operations or executive support functions. Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to build people programs for a small or mid-sized organization. Brings a builder's mindset, prioritizing initiatives that drive performance, retention, and growth rather than introducing unnecessary layers of process or bureaucracy. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. A genuine passion for developing people, strengthening culture, and helping teams succeed. Success in This Role BODEN attracts and hires exceptional talent that strengthens the agency and culture. Employees understand what is expected of them, how they can grow, and how to access the resources available to them. Managers are equipped to lead, develop, and retain their teams. Performance reviews and development conversations happen consistently and on time. Benefits, compensation, and HR processes are well-managed and employees feel supported. The office runs smoothly and leadership is well-supported. Employee engagement and retention improve over time. The agency has people systems and operational infrastructure that support growth without sacrificing culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr Different Technologies Pty Ltd.
