Finance Manager

Finance Manager opportunity in Union, SC, supporting a manufacturing company with multiple locations. This role requires prior experience in a manufacturing environment with multi-site responsibility. The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations across locations, lead a small team, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role that requires consistent involvement in daily activity, not just oversight. Responsibilities include managing the close process, reviewing transactional accounting, ensuring accuracy across accounts, and maintaining organized, efficient workflows. The role also requires direct supervision of a clerical accounting team, including setting priorities, monitoring output, and maintaining accountability. The volume of work is steady, and the structure is well established. Success in this role depends on the ability to stay organized, retain information, follow through on issues, and maintain accuracy across multiple moving pieces. Strong communication and the ability to work effectively with both the team and operations are essential. Candidates must have experience working in manufacturing and supporting multi-site operations. ERP experience is required, with SAP preferred. Prior experience leading a team in a hands-on environment is also required.
