Investment Banking Associate

A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate for its Securities and Public Company Advisory department in New York, NY, or Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring at a major law firm, with a focus on large restructurings and representing creditors. Responsibilities Assist in large restructuring transactions and litigation. Represent creditors, particularly secured creditors, in restructuring matters. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues. Qualifications 3-6 years of experience in bankruptcy/restructuring at a major law firm. Experience in both transactional and litigation aspects of restructuring. Membership in the Bar in the United States. Law degree from an ABA‑accredited law school. Bar membership in the United States. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
