Location: London, Milton Keynes area

The base salary for this position starts from 51,600 GBP gross annually

We are looking for someone to be a subject matter expert to deliver audits to healthcare clients and to help develop and shape the sector and team.

You would be joining the sector team of other subject matter experts. The role is mainly carrying out management system audits for our healthcare clients and you are also part of a focus group of experts for clients and internal customers in BSI. You will be helping to develop the sector, managing key clients, ensuring excellent delivery of audits, with the potential to develop schemes, potentially represent BSI for healthcare events and marketing, and to help drive the sector forwards.

The day-to-day role is delivering robust management system audits to clients and managing client accounts. There is a chance to train in further schemes and be involved in developing new and existing schemes and to work with large accounts. You'll share best practice with colleagues and support clients at all levels in their business to help them make excellence a habit.

For this role:

You will have several years' experience in the healthcare sector and a good working knowledge of quality, environment, and health & safety management systems and auditing. The key standards you would audit are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. ISO 7101 Quality in healthcare is a focus for this team as the scheme interest is growing.

You'll have skills such as time management, self-management, be an excellent communicator, and have good attention to detail. The BSI behaviors are client-centric, agile, and collaborative – all of these help us build great relationships both internally and externally.

The day-to-day role is conducting audits and reports, either on client's site or from home. The role is home-based and travel is required so you need to be comfortable with daily travel at each end of the working day or staying away from home as the role does require some further travel in the UK. You need to hold a full driving license. Travel is balanced with a proportion of remote audits. The audits can be carried out as a team, however you will be working with clients as the BSI representative alone for a high proportion of the time. It's a busy, but extremely rewarding role.
