LHH is working on behalf of our fantastic client in the Kingston, NY who has an immediate TEMPORARY Part-Time Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper staffing need. This role is in the office 5 days/week - 3+ hours daily.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger: Maintain and balance the general ledger with accurate journal entries.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, issue payments, send customer invoices, and track collections.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
• Financial Reporting: Generate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Job Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Usually 3 to 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Education: High school diploma required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or business is preferred.
• Software Skills: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks-Desktop and Microsoft Excel.
• Core Competencies: Deep understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP), strong organization, and keen attention to detail.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
