Senior Human Resources Generalist

Senior Human Resources Generalist Location: Dedham Area Compensation: $46.00-$50.00 per hour Type: Contract 3 months. The Senior HR Generalist will lead day-to-day HR operations for a growing high‑tech manufacturing company with 60+ employees. This hands‑on role partners closely with leadership and is responsible for payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and improving HR processes and infrastructure. Key responsibilities Serve as the primary owner of ADP, including processing payroll for 60+ employees, maintaining data integrity, and improving HR workflows through streamlined processes and SOPs. Manage HR operations in compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other applicable regulations. Administer employee benefits programs and manage relationships with the benefits broker, 401(k) providers, and other third‑party vendors. Support Workers’ Compensation administration, reporting, and related employee matters in a manufacturing environment where these issues are especially relevant. Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, retention, employee engagement, and performance support. Act as a trusted resource to employees and managers on HR policies, compensation, benefits, and employee relations matters. Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen the HR function and support company growth. Qualifications 5+ years of HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration. Manufacturing background required. Strong ADP experience required; ADP Workforce Now preferred. Experience processing payroll for 60+ employees. Hands‑on experience with Workers’ Compensation, benefits brokers, and 401(k) administration required. Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and HR best practices. Excellent judgment, communication, organization, and follow-through.
