Director of Human Resources - Healthcare A large, well-established healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead and evolve its HR function during an exciting period of growth and operational focus. This is a highly visible leadership role for an experienced HR professional who thrives in complex environments, understands healthcare workforce dynamics, and enjoys building strong, compliant, people-first systems. What You’ll Lead Overall HR strategy, operations, and policy development Full lifecycle talent management: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and separations Workforce planning and partnership with senior leadership Compensation, benefits administration, and retirement programs Regulatory compliance (FMLA, ADA, OSHA, COBRA, personnel records) Labor relations, grievances, and arbitration preparation (as applicable) Staff training, development, and mandatory in-services Employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives Lead and manage the HR department and daily operations Develop and maintain HR policies, job descriptions, and employee handbook Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and department heads Oversee incident tracking and OSHA reporting Represent HR in committees and cross-functional initiatives Perform Administrator-on-Duty (AOD) responsibilities as needed ✅ What We’re Looking For 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience Master’s degree preferred (HR, Administration, or related field) Strong knowledge of healthcare HR practices and employment law Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion Medical, dental, and pension Tuition assistance 4 weeks vacation + personal days Long-term stability within a large healthcare organization Interested in learning more?
