This role focuses on performing thorough industrial sanitation and deep cleaning in a food manufacturing environment to ensure all production equipment, floors, and lines are fully cleaned, sanitized, and ready for the next day’s production. You will work with heavy-duty cleaning chemicals, follow strict GMP and SOP guidelines, and support safe, efficient operations on the production floor. This is a FULL TIME and LONG TERM opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Clean production floors, equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure they are ready for the next day’s operations.

• Perform deep cleaning of all production equipment prior to the start of daily production.

• Enter machinery safely (when not running) to clean internal components using appropriate chemicals and methods.

• Clean and sanitize pipes that fill bottles and each piece of the production line to meet food manufacturing sanitation standards.

• Use heavy-duty industrial chemicals in accordance with safety protocols and PPE requirements.

• Follow all GMP, SOP, CGMP, and HACCP guidelines while performing sanitation tasks.

• Ensure no cleaning occurs while machines are running and adhere strictly to lockout and safety procedures as directed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

• Handle manual labor tasks, including lifting items up to 75 lbs as needed.

• Work efficiently and at a fast pace to complete sanitation tasks within required timeframes (e.g., before early morning production start).

• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.

• Comply with all facility policies regarding PPE, hygiene, and dress code, including hair nets, safety glasses, and work boots.

• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with production staff to coordinate sanitation around production needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.90 - $22.90/hr.
