Civil/Structural Designer - Oil and Gas

Position Snapshot Atwell is seeking a Structural Designer with experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Current projects include oil and natural gas, CO₂, hydrogen, and renewable natural gas (RNG) pipelines and related facilities. As a Structural Designer at Atwell, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating structural design efforts with a strong understanding of project scope, schedule, key milestones, deliverables, and allocated design hours. You will ensure that all work adheres to Atwell’s quality standards, client specifications, and applicable industry codes while supporting the design process from concept through construction documentation. This role will primarily involve the design of industrial ductwork, reinforced concrete structures, and structural steel components for pipeline and facility projects. Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor is strongly preferred, along with experience producing detailed construction drawings for industrial and midstream energy infrastructure.
