Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Medical Surgical unit with a maximum nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 (1:5 on day shift Monday–Friday)
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout assigned shift
• Float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for Medical Surgical assignments as needed; telemetry-trained nurses may float to telemetry assignments
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, limiting time-off requests to no more than one holiday per contract period during peak seasons

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Ability to float to PCU for Medical Surgical assignments; telemetry training required for telemetry float assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry training or experience preferred for expanded float eligibility
