Veteran Health Indiana is actively seeking an excellent general *Cardiologist* to join our established program in downtown* Indianapolis, Indiana*. *Position highlights:* * High-complexity VA Medical Center with robust resources onsite servicing central Indiana * Opportunity to expand the Cardiology imaging program, the ability to interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions is desired * Monday-Friday schedule with light call * Access to Clinical Pharmacists onsite * A high-quality, patient-focused team including Nurse Practitioners * Advanced Cardiac center with Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery and imaging onsite * Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service with opportunity for academic appointment * Located in vibrant and affordable Indianapolis, Indiana *Qualifications:* * MD or DO degree * Completion of ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship * BE/BC American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Cardiovascular Disease * Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia. *VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package:* *Pay:* Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases *Paid Time Off:* 50-55 days (8-hour shifts estimated) of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible up to 5 day paid absence for CME.
