We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy. This full-time position will involve working directly with patients in their home environments, focusing on improving their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work in various home settings, allowing you to connect with patients in the comfort of their own spaces. This onsite service model enhances the therapeutic relationship, enabling you to observe and adapt to each patient's real-life challenges. Our approach minimizes the disruption to patients' daily routines while maximizing their comfort and cooperation during therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and capabilities, identifying barriers to functionality.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with patients' goals, emphasizing flexibility, strength, and pain management.
• Manage an efficient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each patient receives undivided attention and customized care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy and exercise protocols, to aid recovery.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering adherence to therapy and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver holistic care, encompassing all aspects of the patient's health.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as required and maintaining accurate records in EMR systems, particularly WebPT.
• Advocate for patients to explore non-surgical options and reduce reliance on medications through effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Promote overall wellness through tailored fitness programs designed to enhance balance, coordination, and strength.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele will consist of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-operative patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. Our approach is holistic, addressing not just physical health, but also the psychological aspects of recovery, and empowering patients to set and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• An exemplary professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effective exercise protocol development.
• Strong communication skills with both patients and healthcare professionals; able to foster collaborative relationships.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software, especially WebPT, for effective patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting with a focus on home care is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze patient needs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Previous experience mentoring junior staff or leading therapy programs is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
