Fabrication Specialist (Machinist) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Fabrication Specialist (CNC Machinist) to join our Composite and Fabrication Team in West Jordan, Utah on 4th Shift. Position Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) following engineering drawings and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance. Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve fabrication challenges. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Performs machine set-up, machining and fabrication tasks Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications 1+ years of experience setting-up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with CNC programming and operation (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or equivalent) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
