Mancan Staffing is assisting a well-established union manufacturing company in Kent in hiring an Accountant for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experienceSchedule: Full-Time, 8am-5pm Monday-Friday This position is primarily an in-office role, working closely with the accounting and management teams to support the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare and review financial reports and statements
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Analyze financial data and prepare supporting documentation
Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Support audits and other financial reporting requirements Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Previous accounting experience required
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information Benefits Upon Hire:
