This role may serve patients across the McAllen area. Ideal candidates will reside in or near McAllen or be able to reliably commute to their assigned facilities.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum 1 year of post-acute experience preferred
• Licensed in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical assessment and appropriately manage patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
• Perform procedures as trained and appropriately credentialed
• Complete accurate and timely progress notes and admission/transfer orders
• Educate patient on disease and treatment plans
