CBS is the largest division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc. – Washington DC's most established real estate company. All Shifts 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am (Monday–Friday). Salary $52.66 per hour Responsibilities Perform tours and daily watches to monitor safe system operations and maintain system at peak performance. Operate and monitor daily functions of installed equipment, maintain required temperatures and humidity levels, and manage BAS displays and alarms. Apply knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipe fitting, and plant operations to install, service, and maintain MEP systems, including preventive maintenance and service‑call repair. Qualifications Valid stationary engineer's license equivalent to Class 3 Steam Engineer (DC). Minimum five (5) years of experience in steam plant operations. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in steam plant operations, chemical analysis, and troubleshooting. Experience with computerized monitoring systems and automated control technologies. Strong knowledge of DC regulatory requirements for steam systems. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs for industrial equipment. Technical expertise in steam generation, condensate recovery, and cooling system operations. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting plant issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CMMS, and BMS. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills for record‑keeping and reporting. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
