QC Analytical Chemist - 6am-6pm

Eurofins PSS seeks a QC Analytical Chemist to conduct GMP-regulated testing of pharmaceutical samples including raw materials, intermediates, and APIs in Albany, NY. The role involves analytical method execution, investigations of invalid results, and method transfer activities on a 6am-6pm rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing and review of pharmaceutical samples per approved methods and compendial requirements
• Conduct method transfer, qualification, and verification activities for analytical procedures
• Investigate out-of-specification, out-of-trend, and invalid test results
• Manage reference standard qualification and testing for elemental impurities and residual solvents
• Apply multiple analytical instruments and techniques to support product quality assessment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with 3+ years GMP/GLP testing experience, or Master's degree with 1+ years experience
• Minimum one year industry experience with Liquid Chromatography, Conductivity, and Titration
• Proficiency with at least two analytical techniques: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA
• In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations, ICH guidelines, and 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Preferred: at least one year of dedicated GMP experience

Compensation: $32.50-$41.00 per hour based on education and experience
