Rad Tech in Penfield, NY

Bring your expertise in Imaging as an experienced Radiology Tech or X-ray Technologist and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic healthcare setting. This opportunity centers on overnight weekend coverage for CT procedures, focusing on high-acuity, trauma-level imaging. Candidates with a robust background in Level 1 trauma and a minimum of two years of hands-on CT experience will thrive in this advanced, collaborative environment.
Schedule:
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- 4:30 pm - 5:00 am (overnight shifts)
- Valid ARRT (R) certification required
- Licensed to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of two years' recent CT experience
- Proven experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
- Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging protocols
- Effective communication, time management, and adaptability
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray exams for emergency and trauma patients
- Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision and care
- Carefully follow all safety and infection control procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records
- Provide guidance to less experienced staff as needed
