Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely interventions and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately to determine immediate treatment needs.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and standardized protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately within the Epic EHR system.
  
  
• 
  Respond to emergency situations swiftly, providing critical interventions as needed.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all regulations, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license with current registration.
  
  
• 
  Require a CPI and NIHSS certification prior to start, or be willing to obtain.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 75 miles or more distance from the facility to qualify for contract eligibility.
  
  
• 
  Bring experience in emergency or acute care settings preferred.
