The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the success of a lean line that manufactures Turbine Blades. The ME will be responsible for the application of S-Q-D-C in the lean line.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a machining.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Utilize daily management and problem solving techniques to improve the manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical engineering from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering / Manufacturing

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
• Working knowledge of CNC Machining
• Working knowledge of wEDM, sEDM, grinders and mills
• Established project management skills

• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must work 100% onsite at the GE Greenville, SC plant - Garlington Road

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
