Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Walnut Creek, California laboratory facility. The role involves collecting blood specimens, performing data entry, processing billing, and providing patient service, working Monday-Friday afternoons with potential weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups
- Perform accurate and timely patient data entry and specimen information logging
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients when necessary
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain quality control standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service and complete administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid California state phlebotomy license
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capacity to work independently or in team settings
Compensation: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour plus second shift differential
