Enhance operational infrastructure for scalability and compliance.Job DescriptionInvestment Operations Associate OverviewThe Investment Operations Associate will support trade operations and reporting across structured product asset classes, including private credit and syndicated loans.Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure seamless trade settlement and lifecycle management.Leverage AI tools and advanced systems to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.Contribute to process improvements and workflow automation to drive scalability and governance.Work in a hybrid environment, balancing autonomy with teamwork in a dynamic setting.Engage with broker-dealers, custodians, and service providers to address operational needs effectively.Enhance operational infrastructure while maintaining focus on controls and compliance.Participate in cross-functional collaboration to address complex transaction volumes and allocations.Investment Operations Associate Key Responsibilities & DutiesSupport the full lifecycle of private credit investments, including trade allocation, settlement, and reconciliations.Coordinate deal closings and funding activities across diverse credit products.Monitor and resolve settlement breaks and exceptions with agents and servicers.Collaborate with portfolio management, fund accounting, and technology teams to optimize workflows.Enhance operational infrastructure to ensure scalability and compliance with governance standards.Utilize AI tools to improve decision-making and operational output.Perform detailed data reconciliations across multiple systems to ensure accuracy.Address operational needs and drive resolutions through effective communication and collaboration.Investment Operations Associate Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in trade management, investment operations, or finance within a buy-side environment.Strong understanding of bank loans and trade lifecycle processes under LSTA/LMA standards.Proficiency in enterprise LMS systems like Sentry, Allvue, LoanIQ, or similar platforms.Experience with Blackrock Aladdin is preferred.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage high transaction volumes and complex allocations effectively.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
