Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech), Night Shift, Float Pool II

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Psych Tech for our Float Pool II who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Psych Tech, you will:

• Facilitates patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care.
• Monitors therapeutic treatment
• Recognizes and values differences in the care team and creates a setting conducive to opinion-sharing.
• Collaborates with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
• Incorporates clinical guidelines into patient care
• Uses information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 2 years in related field
• Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Hours per Week: 36 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 6:45p-7:15a Monday through Friday
• Shift Type: Night
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotation
• Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday calendar
• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range:

$19.64 - $25.65

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
