Audit ManagerAn experienced public accounting professional with strong leadership, client service excellence, and the ability to manage audit teams in a fast-paced environment is needed to lead and manage audit engagements, develop staff, strengthen client relationships, and support business development efforts. This position is open now for immediate consideration and is based in the Austin, TX office with limited regional travel. To support a growing practice by delivering high-quality audit services, mentoring associates, and enhancing client satisfaction and practice growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Audit Manager for the Austin, TX practice, offering visibility, leadership opportunities, and extensive interaction with outstanding clients across a variety of commercial industries.Key responsibilities include leading and managing audit engagements and maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing engagement objectives including economics and resource management, identifying engagement risks and developing appropriate audit responses, mentoring, training, and developing Audit & Assurance associates, facilitating resolution of complex audit and accounting issues, reviewing financial reporting and ensuring timely delivery of client deliverables, providing partners with timely engagement updates and escalating issues as necessary, beginning to develop areas of technical specialization and serving as a resource internally and externally, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for expanded services, and building and maintaining external relationships to support long-term business development.Qualifications include 5+ years of experience in public accounting, a bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's preferred, an active CPA license required, proven leadership abilities and experience developing A&A associates, strong project management, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, an exceptional client service mindset with a sense of urgency, and business development experience is a plus.
