Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–10:30pm (second shift)

• Build, modify, and maintain high‑quality tooling to keep production running efficiently.
• Choose materials, tools, and setups; operate lathes, mills, and grinders with precision.
• Run test dies, analyze results, and correct issues to meet specifications.
• Sharpen and condition tools so they’re ready for storage or release to the floor.
• Perform welding or heat treat on components when required.
• Document work with accurate tool logs and condition reports.
• Collaborate across skilled trades and production; advise on manufacturability.
• Always follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, and maintain a clean workspace.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

• Formal apprenticeship completion or equivalent eight‑year training recognized by a skilled trades committee, or equivalent verifiable tool & die experience.
• Demonstrated skill repairing and troubleshooting dies, tools, fixtures, and jigs—in‑press and at the bench.
• Strong command of precision measuring and gauging instruments.
• Proficiency operating lathes, milling machines, and surface/cylindrical grinders.
• Meticulous attention to detail and risk‑aware work habits.
• Commitment to safety and product quality.
• Journeyman’s License or equivalent credential preferred.
