Metal Fabrication Associate – Steady Schedule, Weekends Off!

We are hiring a Metal Fabrication Associate to join our well-established client in Bangor, Maine. This opening offers $18+/hr, based on experience and is a temp-to-hire opportunity, ideal for a candidate seeking long-term stability in a fabrication environment. Typical Daily Duties:

Operate metal fabrication equipment and shop machinery
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and fit metal parts to specifications
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

What We're Looking For:

Familiarity with fabrication machinery and shop tools
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
Mechanical aptitude with a strong willingness to learn
