This role works closely with project teams to ensure prototype and evaluation work is effective and efficient.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesFamiliarity with manufacturing practicesProficiency in one or more fabrication skills:Refrigeration – Certified Technician a plusSheet Metal Forming (including welding and grinding)Wood FabricationMetal Machining / CNC3D Printing / Additive manufacturingGeneral Manufacturing AssemblyElectronic Controls / Automation / Instrumentation / ProgrammingThe ability to create simple block diagrams for mechanical and electrical applicationsThe ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring toolsThe ability to operate a forklift and become certified is required, previous experience a plusThe ability to self-manage is required:Organize time to best support multiple initiatives with quickly changing priorityCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writingSome 3D CAD modeling experience is a plus, SolidWorks preferred.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Best Practices (5S, TPM) is a plusPositive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a team environmentEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent (2-Year Technical Degree preferred).Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or laboratory environment.Lancer Worldwide is unable to sponsor applicants for employment-based visas for this position.
