Fractional HR Business Partner (Global) | Part-Time / Contract

A fast-growing global financial services company is seeking an experienced Fractional HR Business Partner to support a distributed international team across HR operations, employee support, and workforce management.

This role is ideal for a senior HR professional who enjoys building practical, scalable processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to managers and employees
• Partner with leadership on a broad range of HR matters with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle activities across multiple countries
• Help ensure HR practices are organized, consistent, and well-documented
• Maintain HR documentation and support ongoing process improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance on country-specific employment considerations in coordination with external partners
• Assist with employee relations, policy interpretation, and general HR operations

Profile

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience across HR operations and employee support
• Experience supporting international or multi-jurisdiction teams
• Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism
• Clear communicator with a collaborative, business-oriented mindset
• Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
• Experience in regulated, financial services, fintech, or professional services environments is a plus

Structure

• Fractional / part-time contract role / hourly
• Estimated hours vary from approximately 8–20 hours per week depending on seasonality
• Remote, with preference for availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours
• Ability to travel periodically to the company’s office in Greenwich, Connecticut (generally every 2–4 weeks)
