Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Shop Helper to join our production team. This role involves operating power tools and performing grinding and sanding tasks on acrylic products. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are key in maintaining our production schedule and ensuring product quality. You will be part of a small, collaborative team in a casual yet deadline-driven environment, with opportunities for cross-training and growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform light grinding and finish sanding on acrylic products
- Complete work orders and requests promptly
- Operate and maintain sanding equipment and power tools
- Ensure quality control and product accuracy
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Other possible duties
- Prepare finished products for shipment
- Cut, glue, and assemble acrylic pieces as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in production or manufacturing
