Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Sumner, WA Position Type: Full-Time Contract Duration: 2026–2027 School Year Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in the Sumner, WA area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, school-based role focuses on helping students improve communication skills essential for academic achievement and social development. Key Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines Support students with a variety of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Washington SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Schedule & Benefits Full-time schedule following the academic calendar Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) or retirement plan options Compensation for this position ranges from $44.87 to $64.87.
