As well as, keeping up with the project schedule and material requirements.Essential FunctionsReviews specification documents and understands the scope of supply.Executes Material take-offs of construction documents.Inputs take-offs into our computer database.Inputs schedule and other data points into databaseCommunicates with client engineering and construction personnel.Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.Attends departmental meetings as required.Photocopies documents and plans.Has an understanding of electrical material, their classifications and their intended use.CompetenciesCollaboration SkillsCommunication ProficiencyEthical ConductThoroughnessTime ManagementSupervisory ResponsibilityThe Estimating position has no supervisory responsibilities.Working conditionsWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm. The employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED2 year of related experience or training2 years minimum knowledge of Industrial Electrical Material required2 years minimum knowledge of Industrial Electrical background preferredOR, equivalent combination or education and experienceNo Agencies Need to Respond. #J-18808-Ljbffr
