Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time opportunity spans from August 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027, where you'll partner with staff and families to help students reach their greatest potential.
Your experience and compassion will help create an inclusive, supportive educational setting for diverse learners. Utilize your expertise in resource rooms, small group tutoring, and inclusion models to foster growth and positive outcomes for students with a range of abilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Ohio teaching certificate/license: Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate)
- Skilled in adapting instruction for students with multiple disabilities
- Comfortable working in resource rooms, small group, and inclusion settings
- Experience collaborating with staff across disciplines and engaging diverse student populations
- Commitment to maintaining a positive, student-focused learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for middle school students
- Deliver instruction tailored to students’ unique strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to coordinate supports
- Provide academic interventions in a variety of settings (resource, small group, inclusion classrooms)
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Promote a supportive, inclusive classroom climate that celebrates student growth
