Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity awaits for an experienced Intervention Specialist who’s passionate about empowering middle school students. This full-time contract position runs from August 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027, serving a diverse caseload of learners in a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid, active Ohio certificate/license in Education of the Handicapped K-12 or Intervention Specialist K-12 (Moderate/Intensive or Mild/Moderate)
• Previous experience with middle school-aged students, including those with multiple disabilities
• Comfort delivering instructional services in resource rooms, small group settings, and inclusive classroom models
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse staff and student populations
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized instruction to middle school students based on IEPs
• Adapt curriculum and provide accommodations for a range of learning styles and abilities
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate on progress monitoring with team members
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom climate
• Work closely with families, service providers, and staff to ensure student growth and achievement
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as required
