The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure.Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; candidatesmay be required toscruband manage effectively the preparation of operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field as well.The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric. Our scope of service includesorthopedics, podiatry,pain management, and spine surgery.

Required Skills Qualifications Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing. -One (1) year experience in surgery. CurrentGeorgia RN License BLS, ACLS and PALS required CNOR preferred Critical thinking skills. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families. Knowledgeable of hospital policies and/orASCprocedures specific to the operating room. Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs ofadult and geriatric patients. USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
