Job Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Telecom OSS Solution Architect position for our client in Middletown, NJ.

Overview:

\n

Business Analyst responsible for requirements, production support, and continuous improvement of telecom OSS platforms supporting TDM, IP, SD-WAN, and Network Functions on Demand services for a Tier-1 telecom environment.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Gather and analyze business requirements, user stories, and change requests for Enterprise wireline services.
\n
• Identify functional gaps, assess impacts, and coordinate with product and application teams for resolution.
\n
• Coordinate estimates, dependencies, and funding requirements for new enhancements.
\n
• Provide functional analysis and production support for Sev-2/Sev-3 issues, including troubleshooting, workarounds, and root-cause resolution.
\n
• Coordinate cross-functional incident bridges involving network engineering, service assurance, activation, and application teams.
\n
• Analyze order fallout and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities and reduce Ticket-to-Order (TToR) ratio.
\n
• Develop Methods & Procedures (M&Ps), user advisories, and process documentation.
\n
• Conduct user/process reviews and drive resolution of recurring operational pain points.
\n

Required/Preferred Skills:

\n

\n
• 10+ years of experience in Telecom OSS/BSS, Business Analysis, or Production Support.
\n
• Strong understanding of telecom service provisioning, activation, and assurance processes.
\n
• Experience with IP Networks, TDM Networks Next Generation software defined Networks with proven delivery experience with Tier-1 telecom service delivery platforms.
\n
• Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Riverbed solutions is a plus.
\n
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
\n
• ITIL and Agile experience preferred.
\n
