Job Summary Th e Accounting Clerk II performs a variety of support tasks within the accounting department. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with basic financial business knowledge to compile, review, and audit reports, enter and manage data, and provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The clerk ensures accuracy of invoices and records, supports compliance with records management policies, and handles moderately complex clerical and administrative tasks under general supervision. Key Responsibilities Comp ile and prepare reports for financial and operational purposes Enter and upload data into accounting systems using defined computer programs Support records management policies and best practices Provide customer service to internal clients, suppliers, and customers Verify accuracy of invoices and accounting documents, including detailed financial transactions Handle clerical and administrative tasks under general supervision, escalating complex issues as needed Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and equipment operation Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors Required Qualifications High school diploma, secondary education level, or equivalent Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial documents Basic financial business knowledge Ability to follow standard procedures and escalate issues appropriately Effective communication skills for customer service and collabora tion Preferred Qualifications Ex perience in accounting support roles or clerical positions within finance Familiarity with records management systems and compliance practices Education: High School
