VP, Head of Supply (FreeWheel)

Job Summary FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a VP, Head of Supply based in New York, NY, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. The role cultivates and manages the sales teams responsible for all supply‑side client relationships, driving revenue for FreeWheel’s sell‑side software and technology across our ad‑serving and monetization solutions. It involves developing and implementing go‑to‑market revenue strategies, crafting the company narrative, and collaborating cross‑departmentally to prioritize roadmaps and long‑term plans. Core Responsibilities Strategic Leadership – Develop and execute a unified supply strategy that integrates ad server, programmatic exchange, and monetization capabilities; align the strategy with overall business goals and long‑range plans; identify new revenue opportunities and optimize existing business; and elevate FreeWheel’s visibility through thought leadership. Sales and Revenue Management – Lead and manage the US revenue sales team, partner with Demand & Programmatic operations, develop vertical sales strategies for publishers, broadcasters, OEMs, and streaming platforms, negotiate and execute large‑scale multi‑year enterprise agreements, and drive adoption of the full FW platform. Team Leadership – Manage a high‑performing sales team, mentor and coach individuals, attract, onboard, and develop top talent, foster a results‑driven culture, and align incentives with the value proposition. Client and Partnership Management – Collaborate with Demand, Product, Marketing, Operations, and New Business teams to align go‑to‑market and roadmap; ensure client satisfaction, address escalations, and promote new product offerings. Operational Excellence – Implement best practices for efficient supply operations, integrate data and technology to enhance campaign performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications 15+ years of experience in media and technology sales, programmatic advertising, and the premium video ecosystem. Proven track record of closing and scaling complex enterprise partnerships and surpassing revenue goals. Strong relationships with executive‑level publishers and agencies. Experience managing, mentoring, and motivating sales teams. Excellent communication skills; consultative approach; ability to negotiate complex agreements. Strong understanding of client requirements and change management in evolving business environments. Strategic thinker with strong execution focus and ability to collaborate across multiple functions. Agile, results‑driven, and capable of thriving in a fast‑paced environment. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but extensive related professional experience may be considered. Compensation Pay Range: $295,991.74 – $443,987.61.
