Technical Writer

About The Role Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person Responsibilities Lead RFP/RFI analysis and develop, produce, and deliver proposals and related products. Create and manage proposal schedules, plans, outlines, templates, and mockups; collaborate with technical teams and SMEs, providing writing support as needed. Facilitate proposal solution‑development sessions to formulate and integrate strengths, discriminators, and strategies within a compliant, efficient structure. Coordinate all proposal color‑team reviews, develop review packages, and consolidate feedback. Collaborate with contracts, subcontracts, finance, quality, security, and human resources teams to ensure all RFP requirements are met. Provide access to proposal resources, including past performance, resumes, proposal database, and boilerplate information such as corporate overview, core competencies, program management plan, contract/sub‑contract management plan, quality assurance plan, and retention plan. Ensure the proposal is written as a single, compelling, substantiated story in one voice. Guarantee the proposal is free of grammar, spelling, and typographical errors. Conduct compliance reviews to confirm the proposal meets all RFP requirements and production specifications for both hardcopy and electronic delivery. Manage timelines to ensure all proposal components are submitted well in advance of the deadline. Work independently, proactively identifying and completing tasks. Requirements Minimum two (2) years of proposal management experience. Extensive experience in proposal development across all process elements and volumes, including technical, past performance, management, and cost components, and all review stages (blue, pink, red, gold, white‑glove, and production). Experience managing high‑priority proposals and leading quick‑turnaround task orders, sometimes simultaneously. Excellent writing skills; technical writing experience desired. Preferred: Certification with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). Education Bachelor’s Degree.
