Commissioning Owners Representative (Multiple Locations Available)

Title: Commissioning Owner’s Representative (Quality & Commissioning) Locations Open: Kansas City MO, Haskell TX & Vernon TX Schedule: On-site, approximately 50 hours per week Duration: 1-Year Contract Job Description The Quality and Commissioning Team is responsible for optimizing construction quality and the commissioning process through data-driven decision-making, with the goal of delivering data centers with the highest quality and reliability in the industry. Commissioning represents the final verification step before a data center goes live. In this role, the Commissioning Owner’s Representative will act as the single point of contact for Owner Quality and Commissioning at the site level. This individual will ensure program requirements are met through proactive management, technical oversight, and diligent reporting, while fostering a strong quality culture that supports the timely delivery of a high-quality data center. Job Responsibilities Serve as the on-site single point of contact for Owner Quality and Commissioning activities Provide technical oversight across commissioning and quality processes Ensure construction and commissioning activities meet program and owner requirements Lead and coordinate with external general contractors, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and controls teams Partner closely with internal operations teams to support smooth handoff to operations Track, document, and report commissioning progress using software tools and data-driven methods Adapt schedules, commissioning sequences, and resourcing plans to meet aggressive deadlines Promote and enforce a strong culture of quality and accountability on site Required Skills & Experience 3–5 years of team lead or leadership experience Strong background in commissioning activities for complex facilities Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Strong software proficiency for tracking, reporting, and documentation Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering systems Proven ability to lead and influence external contractors and engineering teams Ability to perform under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements Nice to Have Skills & Experience Prior experience acting as an Owner’s Representative on large-scale data center projects Experience working on hyperscale or mission-critical facilities Background in quality management programs for construction or commissioning #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
