Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate - Los AngelesWe are a National Am Law 100 firm committed to providing exceptional client service and to fostering an inclusive environment where attorneys of all backgrounds can build successful careers.Currently the firm is seeking to hire a mid-level associate (3+ years) to join a thriving commercial litigation practice in Los Angeles - handling high-stakes consumer class actions, complex business disputes, and trademark and trade secret matters for sophisticated clients.What you'll doDraft and argue contested motions, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, preliminary injunctions, and class certification briefing Take and defend depositions in complex, multi-party matters - Propound and respond to written discovery, managing the full discovery lifecycle Conduct independent legal research and produce client-ready written work product with minimal supervision Manage discrete case workstreams, coordinating with partners, clients, and opposing counsel - Contribute to consumer class action defense and plaintiff-side business litigation across multiple industries Develop client relationships and support business development as part of a collegial, collaborative team What you need J.D. and active membership (or pending admission) in the California State Bar Minimum 3 years of litigation experience at a law firm, with hands-on responsibility for pleadings and contested motions - Demonstrated excellence in legal writing and oral advocacy Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet client-driven deadlines Nice to have - Federal or state judicial clerkship Experience in consumer class actions, trade secret litigation, or trademark disputes Background in complex or multi-district litigation Interest in building a long-term practice with mentorship and client development opportunities BenefitsPay & benefitsSalary: $255,000-$330,000 ; actual pay based on experience, education, and other lawful factors.
