Job Title: Operating Room RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required, 3 years preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS preferred, BCLS Must-Have: - Surgical experience as outlined in the unit description - Ability to float between different surgical centers - On-call required Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room services. Shifts are 12 hours, variable, covering Sunday to Saturday. On-call hours may range from evening to early morning. Weekend and holiday call may be required. The nursing team applies standardized care protocols for various surgical procedures. Surgeries include ENT, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedic, and others. Candidates should be proficient in a variety of surgical techniques and practices. A focus on infection control, patient safety, and effective communication is essential. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. Floating between different surgical settings may be expected. All candidates must be prepared to meet the rigorous demands of the OR environment.
