Pegasus Technologies is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) focused on delivering exceptional IT support, cybersecurity, and strategic technology solutions to small and mid-sized businesses throughout the region. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Tier 2 Technician to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with clients, and continuing to grow their IT knowledge in a fast-paced MSP environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for desktops, servers, networking, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments
- Troubleshoot escalated service tickets and resolve issues efficiently
- Support and maintain Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding users and device deployments
- Work with firewalls, switches, wireless networking, and VPN connectivity
- Participate in project work including migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and resolutions
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal team members
- Escalate complex issues when appropriate while maintaining ownership of the client experience
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably within an MSP environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows 10/11
- Windows Server
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ConnectWise, Autotask, Datto, Huntress, or similar MSP platforms
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience supporting virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V or VMware
- Microsoft or CompTIA certifications are a plus
